Logistics Officer

About the role

The Logistics Officer at HALCON coordinates and supports the end‑to‑end logistics process for assigned projects, ensuring operational efficiency and timely execution. You will be responsible for planning, transportation, inventory control, and maintaining accurate logistics records.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and set up project sites, ensuring resources are available and tasks are scheduled.
• Arrange transportation in line with project requirements and oversee receipt, dispatch, and storage of materials.
• Track shipments, manage documentation, and resolve issues that affect workflow.
• Utilise inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels at minimal cost.
• Organise storage facilities, oversee repairs, and coordinate workflow among logistics operators, helpers, and contractors.
• Maintain the logistics database and produce weekly material movement reports.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow.
• Ensure compliance with safety directives, including OSHA regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.

Required skills

• Functional expertise with a Logistics ERP system.
• Advanced knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems.
