Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations (AWS)

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support its Data Center Operations in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, managing inbound shipments, and ensuring parts availability for build and repair activities across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Review Data Center inventory, inbound shipments, and demand to keep stock levels optimal.
• Partner with the Logistics Manager to design and execute plans that optimise part flow, tracking location, age and turnover.
• Collaborate closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Engineers to fulfil parts requests quickly and accurately.
• Work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new components and manage vendor RMAs.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors to resolve issues and align on business requirements.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts or cherry pickers while adhering to strict safety standards.
• Support a 24/7 operational environment.
