About the role

The Logistics Specialist will manage end‑to‑end shipment coordination across the UAE and GCC, ensuring timely and cost‑effective deliveries. This role works closely with transport providers, internal teams, and customers to maintain smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee UAE and GCC trucking and rail shipments, ensuring timely and cost‑effective deliveries.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including delivery notes, invoices, and customs clearance, while ensuring compliance with UAE transport regulations.
• Liaise with trucking companies and rail providers, negotiate transport rates, and evaluate vendor performance.
• Monitor shipments in real‑time, provide status updates, and proactively resolve delays or route changes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and suggest more efficient route planning.
• Handle shipment delays, damaged goods, and transportation disruptions, working with internal teams to mitigate risks.
• Ensure all land shipments comply with UAE customs and transport regulations and stay updated on policy changes.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams, maintain accurate shipment records, and prepare logistics performance reports.

Required profile

• Familiarity with UAE transport and customs regulations.
• Experience coordinating shipments with multiple transport providers.
