About the role
The Logistics Specialist will coordinate domestic and international logistics activities to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished products across Pulse Nova’s operations. Working closely with warehouse, planning, procurement, production and external logistics partners, you will support material availability and production continuity in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses and internal stakeholders to meet production priorities.
- Prepare, validate and control shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, permits) ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Track shipments end-to-end, identify delays and execute mitigation actions such as re-routing, expedites or alternative carriers.
- Coordinate deliveries to align with warehouse receiving capacity, material staging and production sequencing, minimizing disruption and cost impact.
- Support logistics execution for finished-goods distribution and internal transfers, ensuring on-time and compliant delivery.
- Ensure correct packaging, labeling and handling for sensitive, serialized or controlled items according to internal standards and carrier requirements.
- Monitor logistics KPIs (OTD/OTIF, transit time, cost, incidents) and contribute to continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis.
- Align inventory and logistics data with Warehouse, Planning and Supply Chain teams, maintaining accurate ERP/WMS transactions and documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of logistics experience in manufacturing or industrial settings with international shipment exposure.
- Proven experience coordinating freight forwarders, carriers and customs processes in regulated or defense environments.
- Working knowledge of Incoterms and export/import compliance; awareness of controlled items or dangerous goods is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities under time pressure, collaborating across warehouse and production interfaces.
- Experience in UAE logistics operations and defense sector requirements is preferred.
