Logistics Supervisor – Import & Export (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee all import and export operations in the UAE. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures and the ability to coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams while ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import shipments from origin to UAE port, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and warehouse teams.
• Handle export shipments, preparing documentation, arranging bookings and ensuring compliance with destination‑country regulations.
• Prepare, verify and maintain all import/export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, HS codes, MSDS and other required certificates.
• Request and compare freight quotations, negotiate rates, review freight and customs invoices and monitor additional costs such as demurrage or storage.
• Track vessel and container status, update ETA, and communicate shipment progress to customers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in UAE import and export logistics.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.

Required skills

• Import/export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, air waybill).
• Customs clearance procedures and UAE trade regulations.
• Incoterms and HS‑Code classification.
• Certificate of origin, MSDS, COO, SASO, MOFA documentation handling.
• Freight quotation, cost negotiation and invoice review.
