Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor supports daily operational management and steps in for the Operations Manager when needed. This role focuses on safety, performance, and continuous improvement at the delivery station.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager with daily operational duties and act as their deputy as required.
• Prioritize and enhance safety standards at the delivery station.
• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to meet and exceed operational KPIs.
• Monitor and coach team performance, partnering with supporting departments to improve logistics processes.
• Communicate expectations to delivery service providers and raise quality standards.
• Interview and select candidates for associate roles.
• Brief and monitor driver and associate workloads, ensuring accurate administrative completion.
• Measure workflows and daily metrics, supporting reporting on site performance.
• Train and mentor new associates, resolving process‑related issues.
• Work flexible shifts and overtime as needed, and manage resourcing, training, absence, and performance management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing teams.
• Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
