M365 Consultant (Level 2)

About the role

The M365 Consultant (L2) deploys, migrates and supports Microsoft 365 workloads for enterprise and public‑sector customers across the UAE, handling L2 escalations under managed services contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 tenants including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and related admin centres.
• Plan and execute mailbox and file migrations (Exchange on‑premises to Exchange Online, tenant‑to‑tenant, file server or Google Workspace to SharePoint/OneDrive).
• Configure Exchange hybrid, mail flow, connectors and security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, EOP).
• Manage identity and access with Microsoft Entra ID (Entra Connect, MFA, Conditional Access, SSPR, licensing).
• Enroll and manage devices with Microsoft Intune (compliance policies, Autopilot, app deployment, Windows Update for Business).
• Implement Microsoft Purview controls (DLP, sensitivity labels, retention, eDiscovery, audit).
• Configure Defender for Office 365 and Defender for Endpoint, respond to alerts.
• Set up Teams governance, Teams Phone/calling plans and meeting‑room devices.
• Resolve L2 incidents and service requests within SLAs, escalating when needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on Microsoft 365 experience, with at least 2 years in a customer‑facing consulting or managed‑services role.
• Delivered at least two end‑to‑end Exchange or Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Clear written and spoken English; ability to present to customer IT teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Purview, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Endpoint.
• PowerShell scripting (Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph, Entra modules).
• Migration tools such as BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, Quest or native Microsoft tools.
• ITIL processes and ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Freshservice).
