Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and safety‑focused Machine Operator to join EDGE’s Production team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves operating specialized production machinery while maintaining productivity, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned production machinery safely and efficiently to meet productivity targets.
• Follow approved work instructions and machine operating procedures.
• Monitor output and ensure components meet quality specifications.
• Inspect components using measuring instruments and gauges at specified intervals.
• Complete production check sheets, data control sheets and other required records.
• Identify quality deviations and support efforts to reduce rejection and scrap.
• Perform daily machine checks and update maintenance check sheets.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment and use appropriate PPE.

Required profile

• Industrial Training Certificate or High School qualification with at least 2 years of relevant technical/industrial experience.
• Previous experience operating specialized or special‑purpose machinery in an industrial setting.
• Practical knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges.
• Understanding of production quality requirements and component inspection.
• Ability to follow technical work instructions and established procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
