Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Independent Food Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance across all its restaurant outlets in the UAE. The role ensures smooth operations, safety compliance, and cost‑effective facility management for multiple dining concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee continuous operation and repair of civil, MEP, HVAC, plumbing, and specialized kitchen equipment across all restaurant branches.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.
• Lead rapid response to emergency maintenance requests, coordinating immediate corrective actions.
• Conduct frequent inspections of outlets and central kitchens to ensure safety, hygiene, and brand standards.
• Maintain corporate office infrastructure, including power, internet, and climate control systems.
• Manage and evaluate external vendors and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for service level adherence and cost‑efficiency.
• Supervise maintenance of high‑capacity production equipment in the central kitchen, such as industrial refrigeration and exhaust systems.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation, compliance records, budget reports, and resource optimisation plans.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant maintenance experience.
