Maintenance Manager

About the role

A full-time, on-site Maintenance Manager position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a technically experienced professional with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. The role oversees maintenance operations, improves equipment reliability, coordinates technical teams and ensures facilities and machinery run safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities across facilities, machinery, equipment and technical systems.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime.
• Lead, supervise and support maintenance technicians and engineering personnel.
• Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes and implement corrective solutions.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and service providers for timely maintenance work.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, technical procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment histories, performance reports and operational documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance management, engineering operations or technical supervision.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and facility maintenance systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance planning and equipment reliability improvement.
• Excellent leadership, troubleshooting and decision-making skills; ability to manage budgets, resources and technical teams.
• Familiarity with CMMS or other maintenance management software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and UAE regulatory requirements is beneficial.
