Maintenance Technician - HVAC

About the role

The Maintenance Technician – HVAC is responsible for delivering high‑quality preventive and corrective maintenance for heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems across assigned properties. The role ensures rapid response to emergencies, compliance with safety standards, and continuous improvement of HVAC operations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyze and repair HVAC systems, including water chillers, VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) systems and rooftop units.
• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC equipment.
• Respond to HVAC emergencies, including on‑call duties, and maintain accurate incident records.
• Identify technical improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to the Operations Manager.
• Supervise and support the Maintenance Team in executing HVAC maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical training and support to operations and maintenance staff.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, spare parts usage and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or professional certification in HVAC systems.
• Valid UAE driver’s license; health and safety certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as an HVAC technician in property or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installations, VRV systems, chillers and rooftop units.
• Broad technical expertise and ability to adapt across various HVAC platforms.
