Maintenance Technician – Plumbing

About the role

The Maintenance Technician – Plumbing is responsible for delivering preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing and hydraulic systems across assigned properties. The role ensures work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency, while also handling emergency situations and providing technical guidance to the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and repair complex hydraulic and plumbing issues on site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, expansion vessels, water tanks and related equipment according to schedules.
• Respond to plumbing and mechanical emergencies, including on‑call duties.
• Identify technical improvements and recommend enhancements to the Operations Manager.
• Supervise and guide maintenance team activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of emergency actions, maintenance work, parts used and completion reports.
• Provide technical training and support to operations and maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Diploma or professional certification in Mechanical Systems.
• Valid UAE driver’s license; health and safety qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience as a plumber in building, property or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing installations, pumps, control panels, hydraulics, water distribution, water tanks and water‑quality control systems.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude with ability to work independently under pressure.
