Manager - Buyer Development

About the role

The Manager – Buyer Development will lead the identification, acquisition, engagement and activation of food buyers across wholesale, distribution, retail, HORECA and other institutional channels in the UAE. You will build a structured buyer universe, develop relationships with key decision‑makers and translate buyer insights into commercial opportunities for ADFH tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high‑quality UAE buyer pipeline and CRM database.
• Develop and execute buyer acquisition, matchmaking and market activation programmes.
• Lead, coach and develop the Buyer Development team, setting KPIs and performance targets.
• Capture and communicate buyer intelligence to support tenant success and retention.
• Contribute to ADFH’s strategic shift toward a buyer‑led trading ecosystem.
• Identify strategic market opportunities that strengthen ADFH’s competitive positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Food Business, Economics, Commerce or related field (post‑graduate/MBA advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of CRM, account management and business‑development tools.
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
