Manager – Commissioning

About the role

Khazna, the leading wholesale data centre provider in MENA, is looking for a Manager – Commissioning to lead testing, commissioning and handover of all electrical, mechanical and ELV systems in its data centre facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning of new data centre facilities, including hardware installation, system integration and performance testing.
• Lead testing and commissioning of electrical, mechanical and ELV systems and develop commissioning procedures, schedules and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate meetings with contractors, technical advisors, suppliers and vendors and monitor project progress, milestones and risks.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments and commissioning procedures, and witness Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Manage the Defects Liability Period, coordinate defect closure and ensure complete documentation.
• Oversee handover of completed systems to Khazna Operations and end‑clients, ensuring operational readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data‑centre construction and delivery, with at least 5 years in testing, commissioning and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex electromechanical projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Strong knowledge of local and international compliance standards and willingness to work onsite, flexible hours and travel.
