Manager Culinary Standards

About the role

The Manager Culinary Standards is responsible for overseeing Etihad's culinary and design program across its network. This senior role ensures a consistent menu style, product specifications, and development processes while managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, update and communicate menu planning structures, timelines and detailed requirements for all routes and meal services.
• Lead a team of Menu Specification Managers to ensure compliance with style, standards and budget.
• Translate Etihad’s food and beverage vision into actionable plans, documents and procedures.
• Track worldwide product quality performance and produce detailed reports for senior management.
• Develop sourcing opportunities to improve product consistency and reduce cost.
• Provide culinary input to station catering tenders and supplier selection, delivering robust analysis and recommendations.
• Negotiate and support catering service agreements and global contracts.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery, Commercial, and key supplier teams to align stakeholder needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing menu specification or similar culinary teams.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage standards, budgeting and timeline management.
• Ability to analyse product quality data and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in supplier selection, contract negotiation and cost optimisation.
