Manager - Fleet On & Off Boarding

About the role

A leading transportation and mobility company in the UAE is looking for an experienced Manager to lead the end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding of vehicles across its large fleet. The role ensures operational readiness, compliance and efficiency throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete fleet onboarding and off‑boarding processes, coordinating with operations, maintenance, procurement, finance, contracts and licensing.
• Ensure vehicles are inspected, documented, registered and ready for deployment, and oversee deactivation, transfer and withdrawal in line with procedures.
• Monitor plans, timelines, KPIs and SLAs, update fleet records and systems, and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities, enforce compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and establish controls to minimise delays and asset‑related risks.
• Lead, manage and develop the dedicated team responsible for onboarding and off‑boarding activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fleet Management, Transport, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in fleet management, transportation, mobility, logistics or asset operations.
• Proven experience in vehicle lifecycle management, onboarding/off‑boarding and fleet transition activities.
• Strong understanding of fleet operations, documentation, compliance and asset management.
• Excellent leadership, planning, coordination and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet defined KPIs and SLAs.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills; UAE transportation or mobility experience is an advantage.
