Manager – Outreach and Engagement

About the role

The Manager – Outreach and Engagement will lead the promotion of Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) within its local community. This role aligns campus activities with community needs, drives alumni networking, and supports strategic outreach initiatives in partnership with Central Services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement campus Outreach and Engagement strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Develop, enforce, and monitor policies, procedures, and compliance for the outreach function.
• Maintain strong relationships with business associations, government entities, NGOs, and social organisations to understand labour trends and promote HCT.
• Identify and execute opportunities to showcase HCT through events, marketing campaigns, alumni networks, and community partnerships.
• Align campus programmes with community talent demand and advise academic staff on improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the Outreach and Engagement database covering industry liaison, alumni affairs, events, and marketing.
• Network with local stakeholders to uncover employment opportunities for HCT graduates.
• Represent HCT at conferences and events, manage campus events, negotiate with agencies, and coordinate media involvement.
