Manager - Procurement

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead all purchasing activities for PureHealth Research, ensuring the right materials and services are acquired at the right time, price, and quality. This senior role oversees vendor relationships, develops purchasing strategies, and drives cost‑effective procurement processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire required services and materials in line with company policies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.
• Perform commercial and cost analysis on vendor proposals and justify selections.
• Prepare and administer departmental procurement budgets, exercising strict financial control.
• Implement appropriate procurement methods, including small purchases, blanket orders, sealed bids, sole‑source and emergency purchases.
• Develop buying plans, negotiate contracts, and monitor service level agreements.
• Lead tender processes, evaluate bids using defined criteria, and select vendors uniformly.
• Maintain transparency, cost‑effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the purchasing function.
• Collaborate with operational committees and act as the primary liaison between the facility and suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Proven leadership in managing vendor relationships and procurement teams.
• Strong ability to develop purchasing strategies, budgets, and policies.
