Manager - Product Governance

About the role

The Corporate Banking team at ADCB is seeking a Manager – Product Governance to provide risk‑focused insights, advisory input and governance oversight for CWIBG products across all customer segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of market trends, competitor positioning, regulatory developments and industry best practices to advise product strategy.
• Analyse post‑launch product performance, customer usage and operational effectiveness, and recommend enhancements.
• Provide risk, control and feasibility input during product development and change initiatives.
• Manage product lifecycle – design, approval, launch, change and periodic review – in line with the bank’s governance framework.
• Coordinate approvals with Credit Risk, Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal and other internal authorities.
• Monitor product performance and suitability against governance criteria and liaise with internal stakeholders such as Shari’ah Advisory and Operational Risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in a risk management function.
