Manager, Product Management - Mastercard Payment Gateway Services

About the role

Mastercard is hiring a Manager, Product Management for its Merchant Cloud Gateway Core Processing (MPGS) team in Dubai. The team shapes the regional strategy and drives execution for acceptance products that support customer growth and operational efficiency. The Product Manager advances the Gateway Core Processing portfolio across domestic and international payment rails, alternative payment rails, card-present capabilities, scheme compliance and other strategic areas, working closely with Global and Regional Product Directors, market teams and functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own roadmap development, prioritization and execution for defined focus areas, aligned with EEMEA and global strategic objectives.
• Prioritize product development initiatives according to Gateway Core Processing strategy, customer demand, commercial opportunity and delivery readiness.
• Design and run user and market research, including customer interviews, to identify pain points, motivations and growth opportunities.
• Drive go-to-market planning, commercialization and adoption of new and enhanced Core Processing products and capabilities.
• Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regional teams, customers, technology partners and delivery functions.
• Ensure alignment between business priorities, customer outcomes, product requirements and technology delivery, and oversee technical and business requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agile product management, ideally in payments, financial services, technology or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; technical background such as Computer Science is advantageous.
• Experience designing, running and synthesizing user research to improve customer value and product adoption.
• Strong awareness of competitive offerings, customer expectations, regulatory considerations and industry trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of product management practices and tools: market assessments, product plans, roadmaps, business cases, pricing inputs, timelines and research outputs.
• Understanding of payment products, gateway services, processing platforms or fintech solutions is preferred.
