Manager Product – Unsecured Lending

About the role

HSBC is seeking a UAE National to lead the strategy, design and delivery of unsecured lending products, including personal loans, overdrafts and credit cards, within its Wealth and Personal Banking division in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Own product strategy, pricing, profitability and lifecycle management for unsecured lending products.
• Lead feasibility studies, regulatory alignment, technology delivery and testing for new product launches.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market campaigns, acquisition initiatives and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Technology, Marketing, Distribution and external partners to meet product objectives.
• Ensure adherence to HSBC policies and regulatory requirements, including KYC/AML, audit actions and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Extensive product management experience in retail financial services, including new product launches and analytics.
• Deep understanding of the UAE retail lending market, competitive landscape and regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex projects and manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and data‑driven decision‑making skills with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of risk management across credit, operational, conduct and compliance domains.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word.
• Experienced in creating presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
