Manufacturing Quality Lead Associate

About the role

The Manufacturing Quality Lead Associate is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished products meet Vertiv's quality standards. This role performs comprehensive inspections, documents results, and supports continuous improvement of quality, health, safety, and environmental processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials (e.g., copper, breakers), in‑process, final, pre‑dispatch and dispatch items.
• Perform 1st‑off and hourly checks on critical processes to guarantee quality consistency.
• Document inspection results, generate reports, log re‑work and waste, and update the quality database.
• Identify and report quality, health, safety, and environmental non‑compliance issues.
• Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment, ensuring proper operation.
• Support production teams with in‑process checks and advise managers on industry standards.
• Maintain QA/QC records, attend QA/QC meetings, and prepare meeting notes.
• Assist in creating training modules, risk assessments, and SOPs for H&S and environmental activities.
• Mentor junior production operators and ensure daily routine tasks are completed.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
• 3–4 years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical concepts.
• Deep understanding of QMS, EMS and OHS standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
