Marinas Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities at Aldar Marinas in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees service standards, guest experience and the technical performance of our premium marina facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily marina operations, ensuring high service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Manage marina projects such as new developments, refurbishments, upgrades and operational enhancements.
• Lead and train staff, handle scheduling, payroll and attendance.
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, cost control and CAPEX management.
• Plan and execute annual maintenance programmes, technical inspections and readiness checks.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and suppliers to deliver projects on time and in compliance.
• Liaise with authorities for permits, inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Handle boat‑owner requests and complaints, driving timely resolution.
• Maintain safety standards, risk assessments and emergency response procedures.
• Report performance, financial status and guest sentiment to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing marina or similar waterfront operations.
• Strong knowledge of marina infrastructure, systems and assets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage large‑scale projects.
• Experience with budgeting, CAPEX and cost‑control processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the marina internally and externally.
