Marine Skipper / Crew

About the role

We are looking for experienced Marine Skippers and Crew members to support the testing and evaluation of vessels equipped with advanced marine systems in Dubai and surrounding waters. The role combines hands‑on vessel operation with engineering support to ensure safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support testing and evaluation of marine vessels fitted with specialised systems.
• Maintain strict safety protocols and ensure the wellbeing of all personnel onboard.
• Perform close‑quarter manoeuvres in busy marina and port environments.
• Operate in full compliance with UAE maritime law, Dubai Maritime City Authority regulations, and local navigation rules.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication.
• Valid ENG1 or ML5 Medical Certificate (or equivalent country‑approved seafarer’s medical).
• Engineering degree, diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 2–3 years practical engineering experience, preferably in marine, automotive or aerospace sectors.
• Proven skipper experience on RIBs or tenders up to 12 m, with RYA Powerboat Advanced (or local equivalent) and preferably RYA Yachtmaster Offshore.
• VHF Short Range Certificate (SRC) and STCW Elementary First Aid certification.
• For crew positions: minimum 1 year experience on RIBs/tenders and RYA Powerboat Level 2 (or equivalent).
