About the role

Our client is a global top‑tier multi‑strategy hedge fund seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their Dubai team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market‑neutral equity investment strategies to deliver consistent risk‑adjusted returns.
• Oversee daily portfolio operations, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines and risk parameters.
• Research and analyse long and short equity positions to generate alpha.
• Apply advanced risk‑management techniques and maintain risk models for factor exposures and beta.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to stay within risk limits.
• Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments.
• Conduct fundamental analysis of companies and industries.

Required profile

• 10+ years of portfolio management experience in hedge funds or asset management, focusing on market‑neutral or long/short strategies.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, securities and trading strategies.
• Understanding of quantitative methods and statistical analysis.
• Advanced degree in finance, economics or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CFA or FRM are a plus.
