Marketing Executive - Viya Golf

About the role

Viya, the UAE's leading golf and hospitality management group, is hiring a Marketing Executive for its Viya Golf Abu Dhabi outlet. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role supports and creates commercially-led, memorable marketing campaigns that follow the overall strategy and departmental standards, with a particular focus on Food & Beverage operations and the golf clubs. The aim is to grow the brands, generate more leads and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day marketing for outlets and events, increasing awareness, marketing penetration and revenue growth.
• Help manage the Viya Golf brand and its products, and take the lead on day-to-day project management of marketing activities.
• Keep social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) active and engaging, with strong calls to action, and keep up with trends.
• Liaise with the PR agency and press to ensure the right publicity, and attend PR events and meetings when needed.
• Produce ideas for live activations and promotions, following brand guidelines.
• Work with the publishing team to create artworks in various sizes and styles, and assist designers with new ideas.
• Update the website outlets and promotions, send branded emails to members and visitors, and coordinate video and photo shoots.
• Maintain content calendars for all social media profiles, including monitoring four WhatsApp groups used for content generation.
• Produce reports on activities with reference to measurement and ROI, review campaign plans, and control the marketing share drive for outlets and business areas.
• Support the Head of Marketing Communications and managers as required, and take part in training, meetings and seminars.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a business field, with at least an internship in a similar position.
• Relevant qualifications or training for the job.
• Experience in hospitality or tourism marketing is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is preferred.
• Pleasant, friendly and outgoing personality.

Required skills

• Excellent computer skills, with strong graphic design skills.
• Digital marketing expertise and experience managing social media.
• Awareness of information security policies and willingness to attend IT security awareness sessions.
