Material Planner – BOM‑Driven Planning for AIT Operations

About the role

Air Q Limited seeks an experienced Material Planner to own BOM‑driven material ordering and availability for Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) operations. You will ensure that all required components are on hand to meet production schedules, prevent shortages, and support the digitisation of material tracking processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and order materials based on BOMs for assembly and testing activities.
• Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to avoid material shortages and production delays.
• Monitor material availability against the production schedule and flag risks to the VP of AIT.
• Identify gaps in current material and job‑order tracking processes and drive improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of material stock, consumption, and orders.
• Work closely with Procurement, Planning, Warehouse, and shop‑floor teams.
• Utilise ERP/MRP systems for ordering, tracking, and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems for material ordering and tracking.
• Strong understanding of BOM‑driven material planning and stock/consumption tracking.
• Excellent attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to structure evolving processes.
