Materials Engineer / FFE-OSE Specialist

About the role

INFINITY Developments, a member of INFINITY Group and a luxury real estate developer operating in Zanzibar, Tanzania and Dubai, is hiring a Materials Engineer / FFE-OSE Specialist in Dubai, UAE. The role covers construction materials, Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FFE) and Operating Supplies & Equipment (OSE), working with architects, designers, contractors, suppliers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate material submittals, technical datasheets, samples and specifications.
• Prepare and review FFE/OSE schedules, specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Ensure proposed materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment comply with project specifications, quality standards and client requirements.
• Review product samples, finishes, technical compliance and supplier proposals.
• Assist with material selection, procurement coordination, budget tracking and delivery schedules.
• Review technical submissions, material certificates and compliance documents, and maintain accurate approval records.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Relevant experience in construction materials, FFE/OSE coordination, interior design or procurement.
• Knowledge of construction materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment and their technical specifications.
• Ability to review technical documents and prepare schedules and material submittals.
• Strong communication, coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
