Materials Production Control Leader

About the role

The Materials Production Control Leader will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials from suppliers and across internal departments to meet production schedules. This role manages master planning, material processes, and purchasing needs while ensuring alignment with production plans and key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite material flow from global suppliers and internal departments according to detailed production schedules, ensuring timely availability for engine output and gate closures.
• Plan, schedule, and manage material and production requirements, maintaining master planning and purchasing activities to support the product line.
• Control inventory levels, perform ERP data cleansing, and support accurate billing, demand, and engine closure processes.
• Maintain strong cadence with vendors and suppliers, improving materials availability, precision on gate allocations, and overall service levels.
• Generate reports, lead cross‑functional stakeholder meetings, and drive continuous process improvements based on precise data.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in manufacturing, materials planning, or execution within the aerospace or airline industry.
• Educational background equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated problem‑analysis and resolution abilities.
• Customer‑facing experience in MRO environments and proven project management capabilities.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus, indicating expertise in planning and inventory management.

Required skills
