MCC Engineer – Aircraft Maintenance Control Center

About the role

The MCC Engineer will serve as the central point for all aircraft maintenance activities across Air Arabia’s UAE hubs and outstations, operating 24/7 to ensure fleet airworthiness and compliance with GCAA/CAA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as focal point for maintenance, guaranteeing timely availability of Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft.
• Identify, assess, report and monitor technical defects, ensuring AMP tasks are completed efficiently.
• Support Engineering Planning, STP and QA teams in short‑ and long‑term fleet maintenance planning.
• Prioritise and allocate work packages, tracking timeliness and delivery of tasks.
• Provide 24/7 technical guidance to line, base and outstation maintenance staff and MROs.
• Deliver immediate technical support to pilots and cabin crew during flight or on the ground.
• Record and document all maintenance actions accurately in aircraft logbooks.
• Assist the MCC Manager in monitoring daily technical performance, reporting trends and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support and conduct technical training, coaching and assessments for certifying engineers and technicians.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GCAA/CAA airworthiness regulations and manufacturer manuals.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance coordination and technical defect management.
• Ability to work continuously in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Excellent communication skills for guiding maintenance teams, pilots and cabin crew.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports and audit documentation.
