MDM (TIBCO EBX) Solution Architect

About the role

Ultimate HR Solutions is hiring a Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Architect specializing in TIBCO EBX in Dubai. The role owns the end-to-end EBX architecture and translates business and regulatory needs into data models, workflows and business rules, while integrating with SAP systems and leading stakeholder discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end TIBCO EBX architecture, including dataspaces, datasets, data models, hierarchies, workflows, security and integrations.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into EBX data models, validation rules, workflows and business rules.
• Configure and enhance EBX components using Java, Groovy, EBX APIs and integration adapters, or guide technical teams in delivery.
• Manage the EBX enhancement backlog, onboard new data domains and business units, and identify process automation opportunities.
• Design and oversee integrations between EBX, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG and downstream retail and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IDoc, OData and event-driven messaging.
• Work with data owners and governance teams on data quality standards and governance frameworks.
• Implement changes to master data models and workflows to meet legal, statutory, tax, trade compliance and data residency requirements.
• Present architecture decisions, roadmaps and risks to senior management and steering committees.
• Review and approve specifications, mentor EBX consultants, resolve complex design and data issues, and maintain the architecture roadmap with the MDM/Data Governance Lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Master Data Management, with substantial solution architecture experience in TIBCO EBX or an equivalent MDM platform with a clear transition path to EBX.
• Mandatory domain expertise in either Retail Master Data (Article/Product, Site/Store, Vendor/Supplier or Customer) or Material Master Data Management.
• Experience from at least three full-cycle MDM implementations or comparable large-scale programmes.
• Experience managing a live MDM platform post go-live and delivering ongoing enhancements is highly desirable.
