Mechanical Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C is looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join its dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical systems across a variety of construction projects while ensuring compliance with UAE codes and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, structural engineers, and other disciplines during execution.
• Conduct site inspections to verify design adherence and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, ASHRAE, NFPA, and other relevant standards.
• Assist in procurement of mechanical equipment and materials.
• Support continuous improvement and value‑engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of local UAE regulations and international codes.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
