Mechanical Engineer (Construction Supervision)

About the role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in construction supervision to join its Ras Al Khaimah office. The role involves delivering conventional and moderately‑complex mechanical engineering assignments, supporting project delivery from design through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage site supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring and testing & commissioning activities.
• Advise the Project Management Team and client on technical matters related to procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Attend factory and site tests, ensure successful project completion and hand‑over of assets to authorities.
• Develop scope, schedules and budgets for assigned project elements and monitor progress against them.
• Identify and document changes in scope and assist in procurement planning and bid processes.
• Interface with procurement and subcontract personnel, and coordinate interdisciplinary technical resources.
• Support the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising and controlling technical, fiscal and administrative functions.
• Ensure client criteria are met across all engineering disciplines and expedite action items after client meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering and construction supervision.
• Proven experience in project monitoring, testing & commissioning, and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes and standards applicable to the UAE.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
