Mechanical Engineer

About the role

United Al Saqer Heavy Equipment is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support its Sales and Service teams. The role offers structured on‑the‑job training in heavy‑equipment operations, technical analysis, and customer engagement, providing a solid foundation for a career in the heavy‑equipment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive training program covering equipment specifications, performance parameters, safety protocols and industry compliance.
• Assist sales teams with technical proposals, product demonstrations, quotations and client meetings.
• Support service engineers in inspections, diagnostics, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy‑equipment machinery.
• Coordinate with workshops, spare‑parts teams and field technicians to minimise equipment downtime.
• Document technical findings, inspection reports and service records; aid commissioning, testing and hand‑over of machinery.
• Stay updated on new equipment technologies and contribute to process‑improvement and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, preferably from a UAE university.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience or a strong academic background.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
