Mechanical Engineer – MEP Design for High‑Rise Buildings

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and coordination of mechanical systems for large‑scale high‑rise projects. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive MEP solutions from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with international standards and local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end mechanical system design for HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, water supply, and gas systems.
• Manage high‑rise building projects from concept design through construction.
• Develop and maintain detailed MEP models using Revit (BIM) and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Perform mechanical load calculations, equipment selection, and prepare BOQs/specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure integrated design.
• Mentor junior engineers and review shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submissions.
• Ensure all designs comply with international standards and local building codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on MEP design experience for high‑rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local building codes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
