Mechanical Inspector – Construction

About the role

The Mechanical Inspector works under general supervision, relying on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The role involves monitoring quality, performance, specifications, and code compliance through daily field inspections, maintaining records, and supporting punch‑list, testing, and commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and UAE code requirements.
• Perform daily field inspections of mechanical systems and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Participate in punch‑list resolution, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Track quality‑assurance progress and provide input for area and equipment turnovers.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection, quality assurance, or related construction field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction codes, building regulations, and international standards.
• Proficiency in technical documentation, blueprint reading, and CAD software.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic preferred.
• Experience with inspection software, digital documentation systems, and data‑management tools.
• Demonstrated supervisory and team‑leadership experience.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce site compliance.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to accurate records and documentation.
