Mechanical Inspector – Site

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Mechanical Inspector to join its Dubai team. You will conduct on‑site mechanical inspections across construction and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections of mechanical equipment, piping, HVAC systems and industrial machinery.
• Identify, document and report defects, non‑conformities and potential issues.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to resolve mechanical issues and verify corrective actions.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical inspection or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing environments and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Mechanical inspection of piping and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of building construction materials and systems.
• Proficiency with computer applications relevant to inspection reporting.
