Mechanical QC Inspector (RTFI / NDT Coordinator)

About the role

Archirodon Construction is seeking a Mechanical QC Inspector (RTFI / NDT Coordinator) to join its Quality team within the Oil, Gas and Chemicals Division. The role supports the implementation of quality control procedures for mechanical works on EPC projects across the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Mechanical QC Engineer and assist in applying QC procedures for mechanical activities.
• Review project specifications, drawings and BOQ to define inspection requirements.
• Conduct site receiving inspections of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Perform fit‑up inspections and dimensional verification before installation and welding.
• Prepare, file and retrieve inspection reports, test records and related documentation.
• Witness and review work of third‑party testing, inspection and NDT companies.
• Support client inspections and testing activities.
• Identify non‑conforming work, raise punch‑list items and follow up until closure.
• Ensure measuring and testing instruments are calibrated and functional.
• Assist construction personnel in recognizing quality issues and report them to the QC Engineer or Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands‑on experience inspecting piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, valves and related mechanical systems.
