Medical Director - Clinical Governance and Healthcare Projects

About the role

The Medical Director oversees clinical governance and healthcare-related aspects of the company's projects and residents, ensuring safe, evidence-based medical practice and compliance with local regulations. It is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai, UAE, involving close collaboration with healthcare providers, administrative teams and external medical partners.

Key responsibilities

• Set clinical protocols and review and improve patient care pathways
• Coordinate with physicians and specialists and advise on health services integration within residential communities
• Take part in strategic planning for health-related facilities and monitor quality indicators
• Manage medical risk and support staff training on health, safety and emergency procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements, liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the organisation in medical and community forums when needed

Required profile

• Strong foundation in medicine, with board certification or equivalent in a relevant specialty
• Advanced degree in medicine (MD, MBBS with specialisation or equivalent) and eligibility for UAE licensure
• Clinical experience in cardiology, neurology and oncology, including guiding cardiovascular care protocols, managing neurological conditions and advising on complex cases
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Proven experience as a Medical Director or senior clinical leader, preferably in hospital, clinic or integrated community health settings
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards and patient safety frameworks, ideally in the GCC or UAE
