Medical Laboratory Technologist

About the role

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses that support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Working in a hybrid setting, the role combines on‑site laboratory work in Dubai with occasional remote tasks, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure accuracy, quality control, and proper documentation of test results.
• Follow laboratory safety guidelines and infection‑control protocols.
• Collect, label, and handle specimens according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to testing.
• Maintain laboratory records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with medical and healthcare teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Valid professional license or eligibility for licensure in Dubai (e.g., DHA).
• 2–5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
