MEP Tendering & Contracts Manager

About the role

Lead the MEP tendering department for a well‑established contracting company in the UAE, taking over from a retiring manager. You will report directly to the General Manager and oversee a team of engineers and a secretary.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the MEP tendering and estimation team.
• Review, prepare and submit tenders, cost estimates and commercial proposals.
• Identify new tender opportunities and drive client discussions in Arabic and English.
• Negotiate contractual and commercial terms, focusing on FIDIC‑based contracts.
• Take tenders through to final award and ensure estimates align with actual project costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP tendering, estimation and contracts.
• Strong background in high‑rise, residential and commercial MEP construction.
• In‑depth knowledge of FIDIC Red, Yellow and Silver Books.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and stable long‑term employment history.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• AutoCAD competency.
• Experience with Kandy software (preferred).
