Merchandising Operations Assistant – 1‑Year Contract

About the role

The Merchandising Operations Assistant will support the Merchandising team in maintaining accurate product, purchase‑order and inventory data, ensuring smooth merchandise flow from order placement to online launch.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product, purchase‑order and inventory information across systems and trackers.
• Create, update and verify purchase orders, ensuring correct details, quantities, prices and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with buyers, planners and suppliers to track orders, confirm deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor inbound shipments with warehouse and logistics teams, investigating shortages or damages.
• Process receipts, cancellations, returns and other inventory adjustments.
• Prepare weekly reports, stock updates and administrative analyses for merchandising and buying teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in merchandising administration, buying administration or retail operations, preferably in fashion or luxury retail.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including large data set analysis.
• Experience with ERP, merchandising, inventory‑management or order‑processing systems.
