Mergers & Acquisitions Manager

About the role

Julphar, a leading pharmaceutical company in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a strategic Mergers & Acquisitions Manager to drive end‑to‑end deal execution within the pharma and healthcare sector. The role will translate corporate strategy into actionable M&A priorities and deliver value‑creating transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and assess target companies for strategic fit.
• Develop financial models and perform valuations.
• Coordinate due‑diligence activities across functions.
• Negotiate deal terms and structure transactions.
• Plan and oversee post‑merger integration.
• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, manufacturing and other cross‑functional teams.
• Manage external advisors such as consultancies and auditors.
• Communicate complex deal structures to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development or transaction advisory within pharmaceuticals, biotech or healthcare services.
• Proven track record of closed transactions (deal sheet required).
• Experience in MENA and other emerging markets, with knowledge of cross‑border transaction complexities.
• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen and scenario modelling capabilities.
• High ownership, ability to drive processes independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
