Mid-level / Senior Lawyer

About the role

The Mid-level / Senior Lawyer will act as the primary legal partner for the business, handling commercial, product, and marketing matters on a day‑to‑day basis. Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role enables the legal function to focus on strategic priorities while ensuring robust legal support across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, vendor, licensing, strategic partnership, and technology contracts.
• Own product‑related legal issues, provide guidance to product managers, and manage the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle.
• Review and approve marketing, sales, and promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Support major strategic projects such as joint ventures, market entry, and large‑scale partnerships.
• Conduct legal research, prepare internal memos, and deliver training to non‑legal teams.
• Manage external counsel, oversee deliverables, and negotiate fees.

Required profile

• Experience in handling both routine and complex commercial legal matters.
• Ability to work independently while providing clear, pragmatic advice.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with product, marketing, and commercial teams.
• Proven track record of managing contract negotiations and supporting strategic initiatives.
