Middle East and India IFI Commercial Management Developer

About the role

RINA Consulting is seeking an IFI Commercial Management Developer to support its Middle East and India hub. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will work closely with RINA’s International Financial Institutions (IFI) team to identify and develop business opportunities across energy, decarbonisation, civil infrastructure and mobility sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor investment programmes in the Middle East and assess priorities in energy, infrastructure and mobility.
• Collaborate with technical units to evaluate IFI‑funded opportunities.
• Prepare Expressions of Interest and proposals for open and restricted tenders launched by DFIs, lenders and investors.
• Build and maintain a local network of partners, experts and subcontractors.
• Support RINA’s promotional and commercial activities with DFIs and complementary partners.
• Understand DFIs’ tendering procedures and contribute to fulfilling their requirements.
• Prepare internal activity reports and facilitate networking with RINA’s DFI team in Italy and other operational units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least two years of experience in consultancy and funded project proposals.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of the International Financial Institutions market is advantageous.
