About the role

GEMS Winchester School in Fujairah is seeking a Middle School English Teacher to join the team starting in August 2026. The role involves delivering the British/English National Curriculum to middle‑school learners, fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment, and contributing to the school’s high academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess English lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a British‑curriculum school.
• Bachelor of Arts in English (minimum three‑year program) and a B.Ed, PGCE/QTS or equivalent qualification.
• Passion for delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
• Strong communication skills in an English‑speaking environment.
• Commitment to inclusive, student‑centred education and teamwork.
