About the role
GEMS Winchester Private School Fujairah is seeking a Middle School Maths Teacher to join its team in August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the British curriculum mathematics programme to middle‑school learners in a diverse, inclusive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports student engagement and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to enhance the learning experience.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of holistic student development and high academic standards.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a British‑curriculum school.
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (minimum three‑year programme) and a Bachelor of Education, PGCE (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated passion for outstanding teaching and learning.
- Experience with the National Curriculum for England and a commitment to people development.
