Music Teacher - Aldar Education (Al Mamoura Academy)

About the role

Aldar Education, the leading education group in Abu Dhabi, is recruiting a Music Teacher for its Al Mamoura Academy to join in August 2027. The school is part of a network of 31 schools serving over 38,000 students, and the teacher will help create a nurturing, play-based learning environment that supports students' academic, social and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed, planning sessions that cater to the whole ability range in the class
• Work with colleagues to plan engaging lessons, liaise with parents and work with curriculum support staff where applicable
• Organise classroom provision and learning resources, and create displays that encourage engagement
• Assess and observe children, record progress in Target Tracker and use data to inform planning and intervention
• Give feedback to parents and carers at parent-teacher conferences and other meetings
• Manage the class according to the school's behaviour policy, acting as a positive role model
• Take part in curriculum action groups, school events and activities, and run a weekly ECA each term
• Communicate with parents and carers about achievements and well-being using school systems such as CPOMS

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in the related subject with PGCE or another teacher qualification
• At least 1-2 years of teaching experience
• Previous experience working with students whose first language is not English
• Enhanced DBS check or police clearance; offers are subject to satisfactory references and police clearance
