National Cadet Pilot Programme – Fully Sponsored Pilot Training

About the role

Join the National Cadet Pilot Programme and receive fully sponsored training to become a world‑class pilot. The programme, run by Emirates Flight Training Academy in Dubai, takes candidates from zero flight hours to a qualified First Officer on Emirates’ modern fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Complete ground school using state‑of‑the‑art technology and VR.
• Accumulate approximately 274 flight and simulator hours during Phase 2.
• Earn a Commercial Pilot Licence (Frozen ATPL) with Multi‑Instrument Rating, MCC and Jet Orientation certificates.
• Undertake type‑rating conversion and line training on wide‑body aircraft.
• Progress to a First Officer position, operating Emirates’ newest fleet.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid passport and Khulasat Al Qaid.
• Completed National Service.
• Height at least 160 cm and BMI ≤ 29.
• Age 18‑21, high‑school graduate (Scientific stream) with minimum 80 % score.
• Strong background in chemistry, physics or mathematics.

Required skills

• Aviation English proficiency.
• Multi‑Engine aircraft operation.
• Multi‑Crew Cooperation.
