National Sales Manager - Automotive

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai is building a pool of talent for future National Sales Manager positions. This senior leadership role drives sales performance across a multi-location automotive network covering new vehicles, pre-owned vehicles and Finance & Insurance, and leads national sales strategy, commercial performance, customer experience, operational standards and the development of high-performing sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national sales strategy across multiple locations
• Drive revenue, sales volume, gross margin, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Set financial and operational targets for each sales location and run regular performance reviews with corrective actions
• Manage sales forecasting, pipeline quality, conversion and market allocation
• Optimise vehicle inventory, stock ageing, working capital and asset utilisation
• Strengthen new vehicle, pre-owned vehicle and Finance & Insurance performance
• Ensure a consistent customer journey and monitor satisfaction, retention, loyalty and complaints
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, retail standards and regulations
• Coach and develop Sales Managers and partner with HR, Finance, Marketing, CRM, Logistics, Operations and Customer Experience

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• At least 10 years of automotive sales experience
• Minimum 5 years leading multiple sales locations, a regional sales operation or a complex multi-site retail network
• Proven track record of sales growth, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Experience in national or regional sales planning and performance management
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop Sales Managers and senior sales teams
